Experience what Systemic Co-Design (SCD) is, as employed by creative (design) agencies working on societal challenges. Various partners from the Expertise Network Systemic Co-Design (ESCape) will showcase and demonstrate examples and tools from their own practices.

Within ESCape, creative partners play an indispensable role. More than anyone, they work daily within transition practices, and their experience and expertise are of great value in further developing the principles of SCD.

This spring, ESCape launched an open call for partners (referred to as the ESCall), where they were awarded vouchers for time and support to reflect on their own approaches, tools, or methods and translate them into shareable ‘knowledge products.’ In this way, we help each other in further developing a broad arsenal of SCD expertise, tools, and methods.

On October 22, the results of this ESCall will be presented, and you will have the chance to engage with the designers of these approaches or experience their tools firsthand. You can already check out which ESCape partners received a voucher and for which projects on this page.

This edition of the ESConference is part of the Dutch Design Week Mission Days. The program is organized by PONT, ClickNL, and World Design Embassies, all of whom are also connected to ESCape in their own ways. Every day, meetings will be held at the Natlab, focusing on various societal missions.
