ESCalator: Futuring in Systemic Co-Design
The future is already here, yet it is continuously shaped by all of us. What we design, decide, and focus on influences how the future unfolds. Futuring provides systemic co-designers with tools to map what is happening and create space for what might emerge.
During this ESCalator, we will explore the labyrinth of methods, tools, and instruments that can help us investigate possible futures within transitions. We will address questions such as:
- Do we have sufficient orientation regarding the use of potential tools?
- Do we know what to use, with whom, and when?
- Are we aware of the why and wherefore behind the choices we make?
Together, we will map this complex field and explore the power of futuring in systemic transition challenges.
